My love for animals started when I watched my first Disney movie, The Little Mermaid. I realized two things after that: I want to help everyone in every way I can; and I want to be a mermaid. Since I couldn’t be a mermaid, I decided to focus on helping everyone in every way I can. I volunteered at my local animal shelter in high school and did a lot of community service in my free time. After high school, I joined the Army Reserves as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Through the Army I received an Associate’s Degree from George Washington University and a national accreditation to work in any laboratory across the country. When not working I enjoy reading, baking, and going on adventures with my family and pets. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a leopard gecko so I stay pretty busy.
